Field Day

Friday, May 4th will be the annual Oak Street Field Day!

• We are in need of parent volunteers to help with this fun day. If you are available, please call the office at 794-4200.
• Every grade level wears a specific color during field day to make each grade more visible on the field. This year, first grade has been asked to wear a gray shirt. (Any gray shirt will do - even if there is writing on it.)
• We will be outside ALL DAY! If you would like your child to wear sunscreen that day, please apply the sunscreen before he/she comes to school that day. I can reapply the sunscreen after lunch as long as you send the sunscreen to school with your child.
• The cafeteria will not make any hot lunches that day, so please pack your child a sack lunch. It does not have to be in disposable containers - we will be having a picnic in the classroom.
• We will be very active this day. It would be best for all kiddos to wear tennis shoes and no sandals. Many of the activities will be very difficult in flip flops!
