Carnival

The Oak Street Carnival is fast approaching. We are still needing games for our basket. Thank you so much to the Stehenson, Hecht, Cole, Mies, and Salazar families for donating to our basket. We now have the games: Jenga, Monopoly Jr, Monopoly, Phase 10, Skip Bo, Uno Tippo, Battleship, Polar Bear ABC, Candy Land, Curious George Hide and Seek Games, and Toss Up! If you have not yet sent your game to school with your child, please do so before spring break. (I know that seems like it is a long way off, but it is now only 2 weeks away!)

I also wanted to say a huge thank you to Mrs. Hecht and Mrs. Mies for volunteering to help with carnival!

There are other ways to help with carnival if you would like. There was a note sent home last week about 2-liter pop bottles. If your child brings a 2-liter of pop to school, he/she will get 4 carnival tickets (worth $1) for each pop bottle. We need these pop bottles before spring break if possible. Also, a note will be coming home soon about bake-shop items. Please watch for that in your child's daily folder.
