Mitten Tree

We will also be participating in a Service Learning Project, the “Mitten Tree”, where we choose to adopt a child for Christmas and buy them some gifts on their wish list. This year the first grade classes are joining together to adopt two children for our four classes. If you could send whatever amount you can afford to give, it would be greatly appreciated. We will then go and do the shopping once we have collected all the money. It is a great opportunity to teach our kids about “wants and needs”. Please send your donation in an envelope marked “Mitten Tree” by Friday, Dec. 4.
